Some people talk about “being on the same page.” This sculpture takes that sentiment one step further in portraying a couple sitting atop the book of their lives. In the chapters of their lives, they are together - in the same book.

This sculpture also reminds Oldham of the following quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: “Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.”
